This program will showcase flutes from the 10 ASEAN countries, performed by Dr. QingLun Tan. It aims to raise awareness of the diverse cultures in our neighboring nations. As a small nation, Singapore values ASEAN's goal of creating a prosperous, strong and fair community. The flute is one of the few instruments that is found in every culture, allowing us to connect through music.

 

Dr. QingLun will deliver an engaging and entertaining performance showcasing the different flutes and playing styles. He will perform music from various ASEAN countries, highlighting their unique features. Additionally, there will be fun facts about ASEAN, such as the ability of citizens to drive without needing an international license. The program hopes to inspire students to embrace ASEAN's spirit of unity.

 

Add-on: Flutes can be exhibited together with the 10 ASEAN costumes (male & female) in school at $700 inclusive of transport and set up.
